The family and i went to Foresters to celebrate our boy's 12th birthday. He was made to feel like he was a little king for the day. The customer service was second to none and the food is some of the best food i have tasted in a long while. I'd personally like to thank the guys working as they made a little boy feel super!! The smile on his face will be unforgettable. Thank you!!

We have visited the Foresters Arms a number of times but have to say the meal this evening was exceptional! We all ate the Sunday roast - the chicken. The meal was cooked to perfection. Clearly all freshly cooked and NOT processed food. There was a good serving and served hot. Service was good. The pub lacked a little in ambience in terms of interior (looked a bit sparse?) and the tables were bare. If the decor and ‘look’ could be developed it would match the excellent food. But if you are looking for a decent, freshly cooked meal then look no further …

We visited as a large group for food for our son's birthday on Saturday, the food was nothing but exceptional. We had starters, mains and desserts - all homemade and the attention to detail was amazing. Steaks were cooked to perfection and everyone had clean plates! The staff were great - Grace our server was so polite and made sure everything was ok! We will definitely be visiting again, maybe sunday lunch next time! Highly recommend!

Absolutely over moon with our Sunday lunch experience today at the Foresters Arms. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Ashley and his staff with the warmest welcome. We had Beef dinners which were cooked to perfection, probably the nicest Sunday lunch out we have had in a while. Traditional home cooked food but with that extra touch of class. loved it! the chef even came out to chat with us to tell us a bit more about our meals and to check we were happy with everything, he cooked everything from scratch even down to the horseradish sauce that was prepared fresh that day! To finish we had the chocolate fondant with ice cream which was again delicious and of course baked in house- stunning.
Fabulous food, great atmosphere, warm homely feel to the whole place and we we were made to feel very special by all the staff. We will certainly be back!

We visited as a family of four for Sunday lunch, after a recommendation from a friend. It certainly didn't disappoint. Ash made us feel welcome and was great with both our children (11 and 16). We all had Sunday roast, and the roast beef was cooked to perfection! Followed by, what can only be described as 'chocolate heaven' , the Chocolate Fondant. We will definitely be back.
